Amla (Phyllanthus emblica)

Phyllanthus emblica, commonly known as Amla or Indian gooseberry is a deciduous small tree. Often grown for its edible fruit and as a medicinal plant.

Height : it usually grows 7.5 – 18 m tall but occasionally can reach up to 30 m.
Light : Requires a position in full sun or part day shade.
Humidity : Requires moderate humidity.
Uses : The plant is commonly cultivated in the home garden. It is also grown as an ornamental.
