Shell ginger (Alpinia Zerumbet)

Alpinia zerumbet, commonly known as shell ginger. The flowers are white, tipped in pink, and borne in long pendant arches. The individual flowers aresimilar to small seashells, which accounts for the common name “shell ginger”.
Height : Typically, shell ginger grows to about 6 ft, but it can grow up to 12 ft high.
Light : Prefers full sun to part shade.
Humidity : Requires Moderate humidity.
Uses : Suited for use in the border, mixed containers plants on the patio or as a houseplant.
