Red Water Heliconia (Heliconia bihai)

Heliconia bihai, also known as Red water heliconia is a large, evergreen perennial plant that looks rather like a banana plant. The flower sheaths are boat-shaped and often hold water.

Height : It can grow from 0.5 – 5 m tall.
Light : Prefers semi-shady position.
Humidity : Requires high humidity.
Uses : It is commonly grown as an ornamental in the tropics and subtropics.
